Welcome to TCS
The Tanzania Computer Society (TCS) is the apex professional body representing Information and Communications Technology (ICT) professionals in Tanzania. TCS welcomes all ICT professionals, academics, students, and industry leaders to join us in shaping the future of technology in Tanzania and beyond.
TCS is the leading professional association with over 49,500+ members representing Tanzania’s Computer Society, across industry, government and education.
At TCS, our key aim is to grow the nation’s digital skills capabilities, industry capacity and inspire the next generation of technology professionals.
National IT Conference
The event involves key ICT decision makers in private and public sector together to share and discuss latest trends in Information and Communication Technology with over 30 foreign and local prominent speakers and 1000 plus ICT professionals.

Did you know that you can grow your own professional standing through acquiring a TCS registered professional designation?
Did you know that the professional designation of the Institute – PMTCS® (Professional Member of TCS) is registered by SCT on the National Qualifications Framework? Did you know that all Professional Members commit to an ongoing programme of CPD (Continuing Professional Development) for the rest of their professional careers?
Did you know that, if you are a qualified and experienced ICT practitioner with:
- A three-year ICT related degree (or equivalent)
- More than eight year’s relevant ICT experience
You may meet the requirements to be awarded the grade and designation of Professional Member?
Recognition of prior learning (RPL) is also applied when needed.
